Kravet’s linen & cotton print fabric “Whimsical Floral” in the “Saffron” color .
The color palette in this month’s pattern epitomizes a trend with major staying power. Grey with yellow, which first appeared everywhere several years ago, is a duo that’s still going strong today.
Part of the reason may be due to the evolving shades used with this color combination. Here, the palette is warmed up and softened with an infusion of brown in both colors.
This pattern is one of Kravet’s Courture fabrics, from the Modern Colors collection. Most in this collection, like this pattern, are available in just one colorway.
It shows to best advantage against a dark backdrop, as you can see in the picture below.

This pattern looks best against a deep wall or floor color, as shown here at Kravet’s S.F. showroom
The fabric has softened embroidery and is suitable for use in upholstered furnishings as well as window treatments and bedding.
The embroidery can be better seen in the photo at the bottom.
Though the pattern has traditional styling, the contemporary color palette also makes it work well in homes with transitional decor.
